POLICIES and GUIDELINES on PPSTMBA EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

One of the programs that aimed to benefit the teachers is the granting of one-time educational assistance for those enrolled in the graduate and post graduate degree programs. The following are policies and guidelines for the availment of the assistance;

1. The PPSTMBA Educational Assistance is a one-time financial aid offered to qualified members with at least 2 years or with a minimum of 24 months contributions.
2. The assistance is offered to any members who are currently enrolled in the Master of Arts in Education or Doctor of Education degree programs.
3. The members of the Board of Trustees are given the responsibility to choose from among the qualified members in their areas of jurisdiction.
4. The assistance is in the amount of Ten Thousand Pesos (P10,000.00) which shall be released through the Treasurer of the association after its validation and approval.
5. The check representing the assistance shall be personally awarded to the teacher-scholars/ recipients during the Monthly Meeting of the Board of Trustees for proper documentation
6. The applicants must submit the following documentary requirements at the beginning of the semester;
   • 1 copy Letter of Intent
   • 1 copy Letter of Recommendation from the Board of Trustees
   • 1 photocopy of the Enrollment Form
   • 1 photocopy of Valid ID
7. After the semester, the teacher-recipients shall submit a Certificate of Rating to the association to the respective Board of Trustees which shall be submitted to the office for record-keeping
8. All recommendations together with the requirements must be submitted to the PPSTMBA Office, Teachers Building, Lingayen, Pangasinan one month before the start of the semester
9. The applicant assumes full responsibility as to the authenticity and truthfulness of the documents submitted and information provided pertaining to his/ her application otherwise, the benefit will be forfeited in favor of another qualified applicant
10. The screening committee to validate and confirm the application for the educational assistance are as follows;

11. Approval of the granting of educational assistance is by the President of the association.
